Abaana Community Outreach Africa (ACO Africa) is a local NGO in Central Uganda working in education, health, livelihoods, food security, and child rights protection. Volunteers can support community development projects such as teaching, general help, farming and gardening, fundraising, writing, marketing, and health-related assistance. The program runs year-round, with stays from 2 weeks to 6 months, and a typical workload of 4–5 hours per day, 5 days per week. Food and accommodation are included.
