The BaToRo Project, short for “Back to Roots,” is an eco-sustainable community initiative established in April 2017 in northern Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. The project focuses on creating an ecologically conscious and family-oriented community space that promotes sustainable living, permaculture, and communal well-being.
Situated on a 10,000 mยฒ finca between the mountains and the northern coastline near Valle de Guerra, the project features tropical fruit gardens, including mango, papaya, lemon, orange, and avocado trees, as well as 6,000 mยฒ of greenhouses. The community is developing an eco-glamping area with yurts and a workshop space for activities such as yoga, dance, and meditation.
