A family homestay on Sweden’s west coast is inviting volunteers for a help exchange this spring and beyond. Volunteers will stay in one of two homes with their own room, meals, and companionship provided in exchange for 20–30 hours of help per week. Tasks include gardening, wood chopping, painting, repairing, fence building, greenhouse construction, and household chores, depending on the season and interests. Volunteers can stay from one week up to three months. The host family enjoys music, has four cats, and lives in a beautiful area ideal for biking, hiking, canoeing, and exploring. Travel and visa costs are not covered.
