Finca Las Hormigas in Puerto Viejo, Limón (Costa Rica) welcomes volunteers to take part in their regenerative permaculture project. The farm offers a “From Soil to Soul” experience where you can learn by doing: supporting daily farm activities, tending soil systems, helping in the kitchen, and joining creative projects that strengthen community life. Volunteers usually contribute around 25 hours per week, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the Caribbean coast, lush rainforest, and nearby cultural life. The exchange includes shared accommodation and three wholesome meals each day. The community values enthusiasm, adaptability, and a willingness to live in harmony with nature. Previous permaculture knowledge is welcome but not required, as much of the learning happens on-site through practice and teamwork. This is an opportunity to connect with like-minded people while developing hands-on skills in sustainability.
