Knipnäs is a wellbeing center in Tammisaari/Ekenäs, within the city of Raseborg on Finland’s south coast. The site hosts courses, retreats, exhibitions and community events, with accommodations on the property.
Volunteers live on the top floor of the main building and join the resident community. Typical help includes supporting events and retreats, cleaning, painting, gardening, basic maintenance and occasional light admin or creative tasks. Volunteers can join some weekly classes for free and use spaces when available, which makes it a good fit for people comfortable with community living and self-directed work. Food is provided and lunch is usually cooked together.
The application form states a preferred minimum stay of one month with an average of about five hours per day or twenty-five per week. It notes that applicants should have an EU passport or appropriate visa and insurance. In summer, there may be paid shifts for those who take on Airbnb or Booking host responsibilities.
