To hate is an easy lazy thing but to love takes strenght everyone has but not all are willing to practice – Rupi Kaur

inspiring quote, rupi kaur

The quote, “To hate is an easy lazy thing but to love takes strength everyone has but not all are willing to practice,” is attributed to Rupi Kaur, a Canadian poet and author. This line appears in her poetry collection The Sun and Her Flowers.

There’s a lot of truth packed into this line – hate is easy.

It’s reactive, automatic, and doesn’t require reflection or effort.

Love, on the other hand, takes real strength – patience, vulnerability, empathy.

It asks you to show up, even when it’s hard.

Everyone has that strength, but not everyone is willing to use it.

Love isn’t some rare gift – it’s a choice.

A muscle we can build if we’re brave enough to practice it.
