This project is a small, remote island resort in the Philippines that looks for experienced kitesurfers to help during the windy season.
Volunteers support daily life at the kitesurf camp by welcoming guests, joining downwinders and excursions, helping with simple rescues and promoting the spot on social media. They also give a hand with shopping, cooking and keeping the place organised. The minimum stay is two months and volunteers should be confident, safe riders who are happy with a very basic lifestyle. There is no running water and only limited electricity, and sometimes there may be no other foreigners on the island for one or two weeks. In return, the hosts offer simple local accommodation and full board. Yoga teaching skills and extra languages are a bonus. This opportunity suits independent kitesurfers who enjoy off grid life and want to spend a season riding in beautiful but rustic conditions.
