Volunteers have the opportunity to assist in yoga classes, organic gardening, hospitality, art and cultural projects, and community outreach. In return, they experience local Manipuri culture, traditional cuisine, and the simplicity of life close to nature.

Our mission is to create a peaceful and inclusive space where people can reconnect with themselves, nature, and community through the practices of yoga, mindfulness, and sustainable living. We aim to preserve and share the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of Manipur while promoting harmony, self-discovery, and conscious living among all who visit.

Learn horse riding and polo, Manipur is the birthplace of International polo. Walk to the Ema Market, one of the famous and oldest women-only operated markets. Trekking etc.

Manipur, known as the โJewel of Indiaโ, is a beautiful hill state located in the northeastern region of India, sharing its borders with Myanmar (Burma) to the east and the Indian states of Nagaland, Mizoram, and Assam.
The state is set in a picturesque valley surrounded by lush green hills and forests, with an average elevation of about 790 meters (2,600 ft) above sea level. The Imphal Valley, at the center, is encircled by hill ranges that create a stunning natural amphitheatre. Manipur is home to Loktak Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Northeast India, famous for its floating islands called phumdis.
The climate of Manipur is generally pleasant and mild throughout the year.
- Spring (MarchโMay): Cool and refreshing, with blooming flowers and clear skies.
- Summer (JuneโAugust): Warm but comfortable, with occasional rains and rich greenery.
- Autumn (SeptemberโNovember): Pleasant and dry, perfect for outdoor and cultural activities.

How to get to your site โ ๐บ
Langon Sanglen is located at Lamboikhongnangkhong, Lamphelpat area near Imphal, the capital city of Manipur, India. The site is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a peaceful environment just a short distance from the city.
โ By Air
The nearest airport is Imphal International Airport (Tulihal Airport) – well connected with major Indian cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Aizawl.
From the airport, Langol is about 10โ12 km away, roughly a 30-minute drive.
Local taxis or pre-booked cabs are easily available at the airport.
๐ By Road
Imphal is connected by National Highway 2 (NH-2) and NH-37, with regular bus and shared taxi services from Guwahati, Dimapur, Kohima, and Silchar.
Once in Imphal city, volunteers can take an auto-rickshaw, local taxi, or shared cab to Manipur Trade and Expo Center, Lamboi khongnangkhong, Lamphelpat area.

The nearest major railway station is Dimapur (Nagaland), about 215 km from Imphal.
From Dimapur, travelers can take a shared cab or bus to reach Imphal (around 7โ8 hours by road).
๐ Local Directions
Once you arrive in Imphal city, ask for Langol Sanglen near Manipur Trade and Expo Centre – a well-known area in the western part of Imphal. The center is nestled amidst natural surroundings, easy to find with Google Maps.
