Volunteer in Egypt (South Sinai): Eco-camp by the Red Sea

Abu Galoum eco-camp, South Sinai — Red Sea beach with thatch hut, desert sunset, moonlit shoreline and sea view from cabin; volunteer in Egypt.

Live and help at a small eco-camp in Abu Galoum, South Sinai (Egypt), inside a stunning protected marine-desert area on the Red Sea. Volunteers support the daily running of the camp: simple cooking and baking, cleaning shared spaces, and basic upkeep/maintenance (woodworking or repairs are a plus but not required). You’ll work alongside Bedouin hosts, respect local nature and culture, and share vegetarian meals. Accommodation is provided in simple beach-camp lodgings. Minimum stay is two weeks; you can remain up to about two months depending on fit and need. The team values initiative, reliability, and a positive attitude more than previous experience. If you’re ready for quiet coastal living and hands-on help, apply through the project’s Google form (link in the listing). 👇🏽
