Israeli farmers volunteer program โ If youโre looking for a meaningful way to experience Israel while making a real impact, Israel Food Rescue offers a volunteer opportunity that combines hands-on farm work, cultural immersion, and travel. This initiative is designed for Jewish volunteers aged 18-50 who want to support Israeli farmers struggling to maintain their livelihoods. With Israelโs agricultural sector facing challenges, volunteers are important to ensure food security by harvesting fruits and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste.
Participants will spend five days working on farms, helping with essential tasks like picking, sorting, and packing fresh produce. This 8-day, 7-night experience also includes travel opportunities to Tel Aviv, the South of Israel, and Jerusalem, where volunteers stay in a comfortable hotel.
One of the interesting aspects of this program is its balance between work and cultural exploration. Volunteers enjoy kosher meals, a special Shabbat experience, and guided tours, which makes it a journey of connection, history, and purpose.

Financially, the program is structured to be accessible: while thereโs a $360 non-refundable registration fee, participants receive a $700 airfare stipend, helping to offset travel costs. Double occupancy accommodations are included, with an option for a private room at an additional cost.
