World Cleanup Day 2024

world clean up,

World Cleanup Day was created by the Letโ€™s Do It World movement, which originated in Estonia. The initiative began in 2008 when a group of Estonian volunteers organized a massive one-day cleanup called “Letโ€™s Do It!” to tackle the countryโ€™s waste problem. On that day, around 50,000 people gathered to clean up 10,000 tons of waste in just five hours.

The success of this action inspired the creation of a global movement. In 2018, the first World Cleanup Day was officially launched, bringing together millions of people from around the world to take collective action against waste pollutionโ€‹
