Volunteer at Cloudberry Farm, South Korea
Hello everyone! I am currently volunteering in the countryside of South Korea (south-east, close to Busan). The place where I am staying, Cloudberry Farm, often looks for volunteers to help with different projects.
This is an indoor farm (strawberries, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and more) that also offers English lessons, cooking classes in English, and farm tours for families and children.
The mission of the project
The aim of this project is to bring life back to the countryside and re-energise this village in South Korea. The work is well organised with a weekly schedule, no more than 25 hours per week with 2 days off. Most tasks are farm work and taking care of the guests who come to visit.
The living conditions are very good. The farm provides food and accommodation, and the Korean staff often take volunteers out to visit local places or join activities such as badminton, karaoke or Korean buffets.
Volunteers with a Working Holiday Visa may be able to receive an income, to be discussed directly with the hosts.
Cloudberry usually hosts around 10 volunteers, so the atmosphere is friendly and social. The minimum stay is 4 weeks.

Hey.. I am willing to do this. Do they teach you a bit of Korean too?? I am free from the 15th of October till the 12th of October. So not quite the 4 weeks needed but I would be keen if they could have me.
Hi Joan, use the contact details to get in touch with the host. They may not visit this comment section very often. Voluntouring team.
I’m planning to visit South Korea this year and am looking for a host who offers a combination of volunteering opportunities and paid accommodation.
