Hostel volunteer project in the UK – We are a family run hostel with a wide variety of guests staying with us from all walks of life and countries. we are looking for trustworthy individuals to help us with the activities of running our hostels in Sheffield. We are looking for a person who has to be enthusiastic and have a go do attitude, very good with customer interactions and a good problem solver within their capacity. We will provide free breakfast, basic minimum wage and accommodation.

Volunteers’ benefits:
We are willing to provide some pocket money for personal expenses. You will be able to meet culturally diverse people, which will enable you to learn about different cultures around the world. You will be able to enhance your skills of office admin, office management, customer interaction and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, you will be able to learn new languages and finding new friends to keep you company.
What to do in your free time
Wake up in the morning and you can help yourself to our free, complimentary breakfasts and a hot shower in clean gender-specific bathrooms. Once you step outside, youโll find major supermarkets, independent local shops, pubs and parks just a few minuteโs walks from the door to keep you going. Our youth hostel offers great transport links to Sheffield University and the vibrant city centre, with a regular tram service, buses and taxis all at your disposal โ or you can take a walk and familiarise yourself with the area if you prefer.
We also have fantastic hiking trails around the hostel, not to forget we are very close to the Peak District mountains!

How to get to your site
Depending on which airport you arrive at there are easy buses and trains to get to Sheffield. Once you arrive in Sheffield there are many taxis and trams who provide transport to our location.
