In Spanish people say “Feliz Navidad”, in French “Joyeux Noël”, in Portuguese “Feliz Natal”, in German “Frohe Weihnachten”, in Italian “Buon Natale”. In Ireland you might hear “Nollaig Shona Dhuit”, in Greece “Eftihismena Christougenna”, in Japan “Merii Kurisumasu”. Arabic speakers may say “Milad Mubarak”, and in many African and Asian countries local languages have their own beautiful versions.
