A new volunteer online opportunity!
Hey everyone! This summer, I’ve had the privilege of working on a project that really means a lot to me: Wave Learning Festival. Started in April to combat educational inequities exacerbated by the pandemic closing down schools and community programs, we’ve since grown to serve 7000+ students from 59 countries. As we move into the fall, schooling still looks weird across the country, and we’re transitioning to support students with their studies + provide enrichment opportunities.
If this sounds like something you care about, we would really love to have you join the fall team! We have several roles open, with applications due to 8/11. Keeping this short, but please feel free to leave any questions in the comments, and I really hope some of you talented people join us!! โค
Mission and Values
Smash Summer Boredom! We believe that summer should be a time for creativity, exploration, and academic excitement outside the classroom. So while traditional summer programs are on halt, Wave Learning Festival is bringing all the magic and engagement of a summer camp right to your home. We hope to provide students resources that help make this time as productive and engaging as possible.
