About us – Sustainable farming and fishing since 2008

Who are we? โ€“ In 2008, Alexandre Drouard and Samuel Nahon are 24 years old. They are Parisians, just graduated from a business school, and question the future drawn by their studies. Gourmets and passionate about good products, they are already aware of the environmental and social issues raised by food and are convinced that eating good and fair food has a real impact on the world we live in, now and in the future. By taking a close interest in the world of agriculture, they imagined a meaningful project to promote local products and offer an alternative to the agri-food industry.

Our commitments

At Terroirs d’Avenir, we are committed to:

  • promote small-scale farming and
  • defend a different vision of trade;
  • defending taste and biodiversity;

By proposing:

  • honest and authentic products, freshly picked, well grown, just caught
  • Favoring old and local varieties of fruit and vegetables, local wheat, hardy breeds, and coastal fishing
  • Respecting the seasonal cycles of production and fishing

  1. Hi!

    My name is Eoin O’Connor, I’m a 24-year-old expatriate living in Lanuejouls, France currently. I’m just emailing to inquire whether you have a position available for me for volunteer work in your sanctuary from the beginning of March. I’m 100% vegan and advocate animal rights on a variety of platforms, and now would like to be a volunteer for a sanctuary. I have a tremendous love for all life on this earth and think what happens to the wonderful animals that are ordinarily farmed for food, a terrible tragedy, I want to devote myself to helping propel the vegan movement as fast as possible and in all ways available. To be frank, I’m also in a situation where I feel I have nowhere else to turn. I really don’t want to work conventionally in capitalist companies to be able to live. My passion is to do something meaningful for the world and the creatures that inhabit it, and that passion has led me to where I am now, asking you if you would kindly oblige to have me to work on your farm. I’m young, fit, healthy, and completely adaptable to any task required to be completed. If you would be willing to allow me to come help you, I would be truly honored. I have a tent that I can pitch on your land, so accommodation won’t be necessary.

    I hope to hear from you soon.

    Kind regards, Eoin.

    P.S. If you need my C.V. I can easily send it through. It’s all translated in French too!
