ITALK mission

Since August 2018, the ITALK ESL Program has provided extremely low tuition evening and weekend English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) classes in Hanoi. The very first mission of the program is to help Vietnamese students with a little budget have an opportunity to access English through practical lessons with foreigner volunteer teachers. Our trained volunteers help students read and write English and improve everyday conversation skills. The program also creates an useful community which enables international friends and the locals including the students, teaching assistants, other members of the program and other friends living and working in Hanoi to have a chance to share and share alike the experience in travelling, living abroad in general and in Vietnam in particular, and to exchange cultures & languages as well.

Those who volunteered with us have found it very satisfying to be conversation partners to the grateful students and effective team members to the whole ITALK family.
