AMCDH advertised an 8-week international volunteer workcamp in Salé, Morocco (1 July to 31 August 2018).
Volunteers would teach foreign languages for six weeks (English, French, Spanish, Italian, German) while informally learning Moroccan Arabic/Darija, then spend two weeks on a solidarity project in a village near Er-Rachidia. The association offered shared accommodation with basic amenities and three daily meals, plus transport for group activities two days per week. Volunteers were expected to cover flights and their own weekend travel during the first six weeks. No special skills were required beyond motivation, and participants could receive a completion certificate. A mid-August week off coincided with Eid al-Adha, framed as a cultural immersion moment. AMCDH stressed it is not a language school but a nonprofit facilitating international volunteering. Although the notice repeatedly says the stay is free, it also mentions that information about membership funds and registration fees would be provided on arrival, so costs may apply. Applications were handled by email and via the association’s Facebook page, with limited spots and rolling confirmation.
