The vegetarian diet can be summarised as one that includes all foods except meat, whether poultry, red meat, or fish. Vegetarians do, however, consume eggs and dairy products.
Today, more and more people are adopting a vegetarian lifestyle, not only for health reasons but also for environmental concerns. (Livestock farming is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, and water consumption, making plant-based diets a more sustainable choice.)
On Voluntouring.org, we have a dedicated section featuring volunteer projects that provide vegetarian meals. However, please note that while vegetarian food options are available, this does not necessarily mean that all project members fully embrace or live by a vegetarian philosophy.
