Why this changed
This decision is part of our safeguarding and responsible travel standards. Working with children or young people requires specific legal frameworks, trained supervision, and clear accountability, which cannot be adequately assessed through open volunteer listings.
If you are under 18
If you are under 18 and interested in volunteering, we recommend contacting recognised local organisations, schools, or accredited youth programmes directly in your country.
If you are a host organisation
We only promote placements for adults (18+). Opportunities accepting volunteers under 18 cannot be published on Voluntouring.org.
