Help at a horse rescue centre in Bulgariaย โ€“ LIFE Foundation, a charitable organisation helping horses and other animals near Sliven, Bulgaria, needs experienced and caring horse handlers and volunteers.ย  At LIFE they recently experienced first-hand the power of a dedicated volunteer, sparking an urgent call for more helping hands.

If you’ve ever considered lending your time and effort to a cause, why not choose LIFE?

Seeking help in the midst of a staff shift

With the core team having sought greener pastures abroad (quite literally in an asparagus factory), there’s an unmistakable need for more support. And this is where your commitment can make a huge difference.

All Are Welcome

Volunteers from all walks of life are welcome at LIFE. Prior experience with animals can be a bonus, but it’s certainly not a deal-breaker. The focus is on the will to help and the readiness to make a difference.

A rewarding commitment

The commitment? About 5-6 hours of daily work, caring for the rescued horses, dogs, and cats. It might be hard work, but it’s rewarding beyond measure. If you want to leave a lasting impact on the lives of animals, consider joining LIFE. They promise it’ll be an experience you’ll cherish forever.

A week at LIFE of fabulous characters, people and animals ย
Sunny Daye, full of energy with a cuddle for everyone and all the animals! Ratka who lives marginally certainly needed support this week and a cuddle… A concert is coming up with Sunny to raise funds for LIFE too. Shaun our Namibian volunteer, took up camp at the Haven along with 5 horses, one way to horse bond is to look at the stars together at night.โญ๏ธ
He quickly improved the pulling water from the well with a pulley system. Shaun has ridden the previously lightly backed horses and proved to be a very much appreciated Horse support for Lucy on Outreach. Darling Dazzler, lads call her Dazzy for short was the winning name pulled out of Shaun’s hat for a donation to enter. Rescued just last week, a nice 4-year-old Arab type of mare is visible under all the abuse she’s suffered… Shaun has been handling her and treating her wounds, she now rewards him by following him around like a puppy! Must be something special about Shaun’s hat that does not leave his head!
Longtime wonderful LIFE supporter Sarah took many much-appreciating dogs for walks with some loving and cuddles of course too. Duchess, Jon, Sandra and Flash walked are available for rehoming. Meanwhile, three very lucky LIFE dogs are happily travelling now to their forever homes, safe travels Faith, Tessie and Fondant, thank you, kind adopters, fun times ahead.
