Respect is one of the most important values at Rainbow Gatherings. These temporary communities bring together people with different backgrounds, habits and personal boundaries, so consent matters in daily interactions, photography, ceremonies, healing spaces and shared living. New participants should ask before taking pictures, touching personal belongings, joining intimate circles or offering help that affects another person directly. Respect also extends to the land, water sources, nearby villages and local rules. A good Rainbow experience starts with listening, observing and contributing without taking over. For travellers, this can be a useful lesson in slow, responsible participation: being present, helping where needed and leaving people and places with care.
