Mothers and Children Uganda women’s group meetings in Jinja – community support for vulnerable families

Mothers and Children Uganda brings women together in local support groups where they can share experiences, learn new skills, and find strength in community. In these meetings, mothers sit with their children while MCU staff discuss topics such as health, parenting, income generation, and children’s education. Many families face poverty, single parenthood, or other challenges, so having a safe space to talk and learn is very important. Volunteers can help with workshops, childcare, note-taking, and encouragement. By supporting these gatherings, you help mothers gain confidence, improve their livelihoods, and create a more secure future for their children.
