This classroom in Bugembe, Jinja shows the reality for many children supported by Mothers and Children Uganda. The room is basic, with a dirt floor, stone walls, and simple wooden benches, yet it is full of energy and hope. Children sit closely together, focused on their notebooks and the teacher at the chalkboard. MCU helps these pupils access education, school materials, and extra support so they can keep learning despite limited resources. Volunteers can assist teachers, run creative activities, and bring new ideas that make lessons more engaging for the children and the whole community.
