About the opportunity
Newman Hospitality Group is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with the upcoming event at the Murrieta Amphitheater. As a volunteer, you’ll play an important role in the smooth operation of the festival.
Your tasks will include helping with setup and breakdown, as well as ensuring everything runs smoothly during the event.
The Murrieta Amphitheater is located at 11 Town Square, Murrieta, California. This modern, state-of-the-art venue is in the heart of Historic Downtown Murrieta and part of the larger Town Square Park. The amphitheatre features tiered seating and is surrounded by a grassy area that can accommodate up to 5,000 guests.

While the role is unpaid, volunteers will receive complimentary food as a token of appreciation for their hard work. Beyond this, the experience offers valuable insights into event management, teamwork, and community engagementโskills that are highly sought after in many industries.

Time commitment
The commitment is manageable, with an expectation of about 25-30 hours of volunteering per week. The role requires availability 1-2 days before the festival for setup, during the festival itself, and 1-2 days afterwards for breakdown.
Physical requirements:
Volunteers should be prepared to engage in some manual labour tasks, which may include lifting and carrying items up to 20 lbs, assisting with the setup and breakdown of bars, moving chairs and tables, and other related activities. Please ensure you are comfortable with these physical tasks before applying.
