babysitting, pocket money, aupair, au pair, home sitter,
Description

Au pair in Turkey – First of all, it is not an official project so we are not looking for an exact volunteer but more like a family member who can look after 2 kids, aged 5 and 6 years old, who are my nephew and niece. Duration is from 1-3 months in Kartal, Istanbul.

Conditions – Requirements

We expect a 22-30-year-old female volunteer who gets along well with kids. Speaking a little bit of Turkish is definitely a big plus because my family don’t speak English at all.

Accommodation and Food:

You are supposed to live with my cousin, and family. She and her husband work during the day and they look for someone who can look after the kids when they come back from school. You will have your own room and you will be allowed to use every part of the house as a part of the family.

Food will be covered by the family, you can also cook whatever you want.

Pocket Money:

You will be paid 1000 Turkish Liras (160 Euro) for each month.

Tasks

You are supposed to look after the kids since they come from school till the parents arrive home.

You can teach some English, play with them etc. We don’t look for a babysitter but an elder sister. Working hours are from 2 pm till 6 pm, so 4 hours daily. Rest of the working hours you can study, travel or stay at home so it is up to you.

You have to follow home rules which are not strict at all.

Requirements

We expect a 22-30 year old female volunteer who gets along well with kids. Speaking a little bit of Turkish is definitely a big plus because my family don’t speak English at all.
