Eva, a 61-year-old host in Baden-Wรผrttemberg, Germany, is welcoming volunteers to her 200-year-old farmhouse on the edge of the Swabian Alb. In exchange for free food and accommodation, helpers contribute 4โ€“5 hours a day, 5 days a week with gardening, renovation, attic and barn clean-up, building projects, and general maintenance. Volunteers can also assist with creating a compost system, greenhouse, and installing a staircase with a small living unit. Accommodation includes two bright and simple rooms, shared kitchen and bathroom, and meals together four days a week. The location offers beautiful hiking opportunities, a small village atmosphere, and cultural exchange in a nature-focused lifestyle. German is preferred for communication.
