Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto, Japan — one of the most iconic and photographed sites in the country.

The image shows the famous Senbon Torii (“thousands of torii gates”), a path lined with vibrant red-orange gates donated by worshippers. This shrine is dedicated to Inari, the Shinto god of rice and prosperity, and it’s a popular hike that winds up Mount Inari through peaceful forested trails.
