Grace horse trip with Currito in Spain

Grace and her horse Currito on a horse expedition with volunteers and members of Ecupasil, promoting volunteer hospitality exchange and adventure

Grace (Lithuanian) explains how she set off with Currito from southern Spain toward the south of France, sharing tips, anecdotes, and the slow-travel mindset behind moving with a horse.

Grace (aka Graลพina), a Lithuanian traveler, set out across Spain with her horse Currito as a slow, open-ended journey that valued companionship, horsemanship, and self-reliance. She began in the south with a loose plan to reach southern France, walking quiet routes, camping or accepting help in villages, and learning from horse people she met. The trip emphasized daily care, light packs, and choosing calm paths over traffic. Over time the project evolved from constant motion to a semi-settled life.
