Volunteer in a diving centre
Dive centres (or, more commonly, diving centre) are facilities that provide support, equipment and courses, with the issuing of a licence, for the practice of underwater activities.
Diving centres provide logistical support for all related activities which can be summarised in three main categories:
- guided diving,
- diving school
- tank filling,
along with the rental, maintenance and repair of diving equipment, and the provision of transport service with rubber dinghies and suitable boats.
In general, it offers the services of accompanying and assisting guided dives with trained and experienced guides. The diving centres have knowledge of the most important and interesting diving spots; they can offer as well transport with boats specifically designed for diving, and which allow entry and exit from the water with ease and comfort.
Dive centres are often the best solution for diving in unfamiliar places or in protected marine parks for which a permit and guide are required.
