Great Blue Turaco (Corythaeola cristata)

The Great Blue Turaco (Corythaeola cristata) is a large, colorful bird found in the forests of Central and West Africa.

It is known for its blue and green plumage, distinctive yellow and red bill, and crest on its head. It is often seen in treetops, feeding on fruits and berries. Known for its slow, deliberate movements and melodious calls. It usually lives in small groups and is arboreal, spending much of its time in the treetops.

In some cultures, the Great Blue Turaco is considered a symbol of good luck and is admired for its beauty.
