International Yoga and Sacred Music Festival in a spiritual community in the South of Sweden

Are you passionate about yoga and sacred music? Do you want to be part of a global family that celebrates togetherness and co-creation? We invite you to join in creating the Yoga Mela Festival together with the spiritual living and learning community of Divinya.

Yoga Mela celebrates a living spirituality, sacred music, authentic yoga and the transformational togetherness of people coming together from all over the world in peace and unity. With its intention to create a collective experience of harmony, joy and devotion, the festival aims to contribute to the current awakening of humanity.

A non-profit and voluntary-based festival

Yoga Mela is a fully non-profit and voluntary-based festival that offers over 200 programs, including concerts, kirtan, yoga classes, workshops, and Satsang. The festival takes place in the beautiful location of Divinya, Center for Evolutionary Consciousness, in the south of Sweden and is an opportunity for volunteers to live within the spiritual living and learning community of Divinya and gain a first-hand experience of how spirituality can be brought into practical life.
This volunteering experience is usually a 1-month experience that starts three weeks before the festival. It is also possible to apply for a longer period, between 1-3 months.
Collectively, we keep Divinya as a space of living meditation and maintain the flow of the festival. We appreciate that all our volunteers come with great motivation and the openness to engage in whatever needs to be done.

You will have the chance to actively participate in various areas of responsibility or you can apply for a focus area, such as site preparation or kitchen support. During the festival, you also can attend the programs such as concerts, yoga classes, and workshops. Vegetarian food and tenting accommodations will be provided to all volunteers during their stay.

Co-creating Yoga Mela Festival means experiencing the joy of selfless service and community.  Many volunteers return year after year to participate in the joyful Seva experience alongside the Divinya community. The festival is an opportunity for passionate individuals to come together in love, care and share.

As a volunteer, you will join a global family and live within the eco-spiritual community of Divinya, gaining a first-hand experience of Living Spirituality. During the festival, volunteers actively participate in various areas of responsibility and also have the opportunity to attend concerts, yoga classes and workshops. Vegetarian food and tenting accommodations are provided to all volunteers during their stay.
