Project Red Shed is an animal welfare organization founded by Sandy Sheerin in 2022, dedicated to supporting under-resourced animal shelters and rescue centers, particularly in crisis situations such as wars and natural disasters. The organization focuses on providing aid, food, veterinary care, and educational resources to assist animals in need.

During the conflict in Ukraine, Project Red Shed played a significant role in rescuing and supporting animals affected by the war. They collaborated with local shelters and international organizations to evacuate animals from high-risk areas, provide medical attention, and supply food and temporary shelters. Their efforts extended to border countries like Hungary, Romania, Poland, and Slovakia, where they assisted in setting up facilities to accommodate the influx of displaced animals.
