Volunteer at a ranch in Peru – Our horse rescue centre is looking for 2 volunteers to help us out! We are located in Chucuito, a small village at 30 minutes from Puno.

We need 2 persons that can do more manual work on our fields so that our horses can be safe and free. You would also be in contact with horses everyday and would have the opportunity to learn from them, how to approach them, how to be with them.

We offer free hospitality and one meal a day.
- Volunteers help us 5 days a week and have two days off.
- The minimum stay is 4 weeks and they can stay up to 3 Month.
Language
Spanish and English skills are required. Helping with horses requires experience with horses.
Requirements:
We are always looking for experts in
- training,
- guiding trials,
- natural horsemanship,
- equine therapy and
- horse coaching.
We are also looking for veterinarians and experts for huf maintenance.

Mission
We built a horse sanctuary in Chucuito. Today we have more than 13 horses and we are raising some more each time we have a birth within our centre. Our mission is to provide an enjoyable and safe environment to learn and ride horses. We want to show that horses are not only for human to climb on their back but can also be powerful healers and teachers!
The history
Once upon a time, an amazing german lady, Ajna, meets a local cowboy, Santiago. Both of these two horses lovers decided to unite their strengths to build a family and a horse centre in Chucuito near Puno. Today they have created a sanctuary for 15 horses, a beautiful hotel (traditional Posada with stone cottages, pool and an amazing view over the lake) and a place for volunteers to share community life among horses.
Their dream comes true and you can be part of it! Come, relax, live and heal near horses.
