Volunteer at a jungle eco retreat in Goa, IndiaKhaama Kethna is an ecological village and retreat centre hidden in a quiet jungle valley near Agonda, South Goa. We are looking for dedicated, nature-loving volunteers who are happy to live simply in the forest and support our holistic, eco-friendly retreat project. A minimum stay of three months is required.

About Khaama Kethna

Spread across 12 acres of sub-tropical forest, Khaama Kethna is a small ecological village with handcrafted cabanas and treehouses surrounded by green fields, vegetable gardens and native wildlife. Guests come here to slow down, reconnect with nature and experience a more conscious, sustainable way of living.

Our mission

Our aim is to offer a nourishing and adventurous jungle experience that helps people step away from the noise of modern life and back into the rhythm of nature. We try to live as guests in the jungle environment, keeping our impact low while celebrating the life all around us. The centre focuses on conscious, responsible and sustainable tourism through creative and holistic holiday packages, workshops and retreats.

Activities and atmosphere

Depending on the season, the retreat hosts a mix of meditation and yoga sessions, art workshops, naturopathy and other wellbeing programmes. Volunteers typically support daily retreat life and the hospitality side of the project, help keep the forest village running smoothly and share ideas that align with our values of simplicity, creativity and respect for nature.

Location

The forested hilltop of Khaama Kethna is about 4 km from the Arabian Sea, with Butterfly Beach and Agonda Beach close by. The village of Agonda offers cafรฉs, restaurants and basic services, while Patnem and Palolem are around 10 km away. This location gives easy access to vibrant beaches and village life while still allowing you to withdraw into the peace of the jungle.
