Eco Retreat in India! – We are looking for dedicated and nature-loving individuals to join us in the jungle for the up and coming season. Volunteers must be genuinely interested in working in the holistic wellness and hospitality business and must be willing to stay a minimum of 3 months.

Nestled within a tranquil valley of jungle wilderness, Khaama Kethna is a one of a kind ecological village and retreat Centre. Spread across 12 acres of sub-tropical forest, our traditionally handcrafted cabanas and treehouses are surrounded by untouched nature and green fields in every direction. Throughout the duration of your stay, you will be immersed into nature and live in harmony with the incredible native flora and fauna of the South Goan jungle.

Mission

The aim at Khaama Kethna is to provide a uniquely nourishing and adventurous jungle experience that encourages withdrawal into the solitude and serenity of nature from this modern, hectic world. Our centre is an example of a modern way to live as close to the earth as possible and wide open to the symphony of its inhabitants in a simple, comfortable and refreshing manner. From trees in the bedroom to frogs in the toilet, each room incorporates life throughout. We are guests in the jungle’s environment and not the other way around. This fresh, wild and unconfined environment inspires people to acknowledge and embrace the whole of life while reconnecting to the beautiful life force within and all around.

Our primary focus is on encouraging conscious, responsible and sustainable tourism by promoting creative and holistic holiday packages and workshops, as well as catering to larger seminars, courses and retreats.

At the Centre, we provide a diverse range of creative and holistic wellbeing & wellness practices/activities such as

• art workshops,
• naturopathy and

many other restorative and inspirational programs and events which are seasonally dependent.

Diet

All the programs and events along with the healthy farm-fresh meals prepared in our restaurant support relaxation, stillness and transformation.

Location

The forested hilltop of Khaama Kethna has perfectly placed just 4 km from the Arabian Sea, with the beautifully secluded ‘Butterfly’ beach and ‘Agonda’ beach within walking distance. The local village of ‘Agonda’ is home to India’s highest-ranking beach and has a great selection of restaurants and bars, as well as any other local amenities you might require during your stay. The busier resorts of ‘Patnem’ & the famous ‘Palolem’ beach are also conveniently located around 10 km away. This ideal location allows easy access to all the local vibrant beaches while still allowing for the withdrawal into the serenity and tranquillity of nature.
