This volunteer opportunity takes place with a Bedouin family in the Wadi Rum desert of Jordan. The family lives a traditional nomadic lifestyle, moving with their goats and sheep across the desert. Volunteers are invited to help with daily tasks such as caring for animals, maintaining the camp, and supporting the family’s small desert tour business. Accommodation is provided in the nearby Wadi Rum village, while days are spent in the desert learning and sharing meals. All food and housing are included, and airport pick-up in Amman is offered. Volunteers will experience Bedouin culture, desert life and the chance to practice Arabic.
