General info

The Mountain Volunteer Association came from the belief that donating money is not always the only way to help people in need (or people asking for help).
Collaboration, assistance, support and help in South Tyrolean mountain farms are often much more decisive for survival than just financial aid.
For this reason, in 1997, the four founding organizations
  • Unione Coltivatori Diretti of Alto Adige / Sรผdtirol,
  • Caritas Diocesana,
  • Lebenshilfe ONLUS and
  • Sรผdtiroler Jugendring – Provincial Federation of Youth Organizations
gave life to the Mountain Volunteer Association!

Goals

The purpose of the association is to help, through voluntary assistance, South Tyrolean mountain farmers, who have the hard task of cultivating their land in disadvantaged areas, thus ensuring the non-abandonment of the land.
For the volunteer it is a bit ‘a return to their roots and the fundamental support of all human activities.
