New World is an English school in Thai Binh, north Vietnam. Its mission is to offer very affordable English lessons to children and adults from all social backgrounds. Volunteers help students with vocabulary and pronunciation in kindergartens, schools and the New World centre, usually 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. Classes are for ages 2 to 17 and lesson plans are mostly prepared. Accommodation and two meals a day are included, with no fees, plus a small stipend and TEFL support. In free time, volunteers can explore Thai Binh and nearby places like Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Cat Ba.
