Worldschooling is a broad term used by families who incorporate travel, places, people and real-world experiences into their children’s education. Families may combine this with homeschooling, unschooling, online learning, structured curricula or other educational approaches.
Worldschooling and volunteering
Some opportunities involve worldschooling hubs, learning communities or travelling families looking for adults who can share appropriate skills, languages, creative activities or practical knowledge. Other posts in this archive may simply introduce communities, resources or stories related to worldschooling.
When children are involved, clarify the volunteer’s role, supervision and safeguarding arrangements. Helping with activities does not automatically make a participant a teacher or childcare provider, and volunteers should not replace trained staff.
