If the announcement is still valid, look for the ‘contact details‘ section. There you can find free ways to get in touch with the hosts (website, e-mail, phone numbers, application form). Send the host/organization a message and wait for a reply.

Volunteering in Asia… for independent travellers!

Some of these opportunities are free (you receive free food and accommodation in exchange for voluntary work). Others require a daily/monthly contribution fee for the food and the accommodation. Remember that many areas in Asia are still developing and volunteering can’t always be a ‘free’ thing.

If you want to have an “impact” but only have a few weeks to volunteer abroad, then we recommend you choose the non-free opportunities: you will contribute not only with your skills but also with your money, especially if you can only volunteer for a short period; this is usually better than paying for a “hotel” or a touristic village owned by foreign agencies.

Our website, Voluntouring, is not a touristic agency and is not taking any agency intermediation fees from the organizations listed below. For this reason, all of your money will go directly to support the NGOs and your stay in Asia. This is also why you will find that the fees for the volunteering experiences, when requested, are generally much lower than usual.
