Connect by Music (CBM) is a Dutch initiative providing music education to children and adults in refugee camps on Lesvos and mainland Greece, including Thermopylae and Malakasa.
They seek volunteers with backgrounds in music teaching or therapy, focusing on instruments like guitar, piano, percussion, and vocals. Volunteers are expected to stay for at least two weeks. CBM provides accommodation and a shared vehicle, while volunteers cover their flight expenses. Additionally, volunteers are encouraged to raise €200 per week to support the program’s costs.
