Volunteer Opportunity: Earthship Building & Sustainable Living 🏡

Where? Near Futurity, Colorado at the Hacienda Hughes Earthship Haven.

Duration: May 15 to December 1, 2023.

Tasks Involved:

• 🌱 Gardening and permaculture initiatives.
• 🛠 Building with sustainable materials like tires and bottles.
• 🎨 Creative arts and crafts, including mosaic tiling.
• 🌿 Developing aquaponics and water filtration systems.
• 🔨 General building, cleaning, and maintenance tasks.

Host Type: Private/Individual/Family.

Looking for Help With:

• Building 🛠
• Cleaning 🧹
• Farming/Gardening 🌿🐄
• General Help 💁‍♀️

Community Mission: Work, eat, have fun, enjoy life, sleep, and repeat! 🎯

Volunteers:

• All ages welcome, including seniors and minors. 💪
• Groups of volunteers can be accommodated. 🎎

Volunteer Schedule:

• Help needed from May 15 through December 1, 2023.
• 4-5 hours of help per day, 5 days a week.

Accommodation & Food:

• Included 🏠🍜
• Options: Dorm/shared rooms, private rooms, or tent camping.
• Community kitchen participation expected.
• Vegetarian options available for all meals. 🥗🥤

Additional Info:

• No fees, but a new truck would be appreciated if you have millions! 🆓🔍
• Cannot assist with Visa/invitation letters. 🛂❌
• Bring gloves, sunglasses, a sun hat, and clothing for manual work.
