Japan Youth Summit 2025 is now open for applications, and itâs fully funded for those who qualify. Set to take place in Osaka, Japan, this international event invites young people from around the world to explore the theme âPioneering Innovation for Sustainable Futures.â Whether you’re a student, early-career professional, or youth leader, this is a nice chance to connect, collaborate, and contribute to real change.
Organised by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB), the summit blends global networking with practical learning. Youâll join inspiring discussions, share your ideas in an innovation competition, take part in leadership and entrepreneurship workshops, and dive into the rich cultural life of Osaka and Kyoto â including a cultural exploration and a final awards night.
What to expect

Participants will join panel talks, present innovation-based projects, engage in group work, and get to know like-minded changemakers from all over the world. In addition to cultural activities, there are structured sessions for skill-building, mentoring, and idea development.
The program includes access to expert speakers, participation certificates, leadership training, and both fully funded (via reimbursement) and self-funded participation options, offering flexibility based on need and availability.
Who can apply?
The summit is open to anyone aged 15 to 40, regardless of nationality or academic background.
No IELTS or TOEFL scores are required. The focus is on passion, creativity, and your vision for a more sustainable and innovative future.
How to register
To apply for the Japan Youth Summit, applicants must follow and engage with the organisers on social media, upload a relevant post about the SDGs, and tag friends. They must also follow on TikTok, subscribe to the YouTube channel, join official Telegram groups, and share the event poster in at least three social media groups. After completing these steps, they can submit the registration form on japanyouthsummit.com.
