Initiated by Donald Russell, who spent 15 years studying Gothic architecture at the Sorbonne University in Paris, the project began in 1993 with the hand-carving of over 9,000 stones. Construction commenced in 2008, led by Donald’s children, Sam and Suzi, transforming his vision into reality.
