Help a family renovating their place in exchange for full hospitality
Volunteer exchange in Spain near Barcelona โ
We are a Spanish family on the last steps to finish our project in the northeast of Spain, finishing the transformation of an existing old house with bioclimatic criteria, in the countryside, and we would need some help with it. So we leave you some information about us and our project just in case that you may be interested in coming and help us for a while.
About the place
The place is beautiful, 3 km away from the city of Lleida, 150 Km west of Barcelona.
The Volunteer Exchange
We offer accommodation and food in exchange for some help with the project about 4 hours a day, at the final works finishing the house, with the furniture, equipment, and some gardening of the surroundings. We can also offer you bicycles to move around the area and some time to talk together for cultural mutual enrichment.
The ideal dates for volunteering
We offer to host you from late February 2021 onwards, thinking about a 2-3 months period.
COVID19 policies
Now the Covid situation here has improved significantly and our authorities allow us to receive helpers as far as they take a negative COVID PCR test before coming to our place. We’ve taken also PCR tests from time to time, all negative, and we take the necessary precautions to protect ourselves. We live a bit isolated in the countryside and this also helps us to live in harmony and with security.
