Blue Osa Yoga Retreat + Spa is a yoga retreat on the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica, close to Corcovado National Park. Volunteers join a small eco-community that includes guests and local staff and help with tasks such as gardening, online content, film making, marketing or writing. The usual schedule is about 6 hours of help per day, 5 days per week, with a minimum stay of 3 months and weekends or two days off. Volunteers receive a private room in the staff area and three healthy meals per day, with a mainly vegan menu and some animal protein options. There is no participation fee and the role is non-paid. Blue Osa often gives priority to yoga teachers who can occasionally teach classes, so experience in yoga is a plus. Free time can be spent at the beach, in the pool or exploring the rainforest and wildlife of the Osa Peninsula.
