Hitchhiking
What is hitchhiking?
Hitchhiking occurs every time we raise our thumb or forefinger and stop the car, perhaps saying first with a sign where we need to go: whether it is Berlin, Madrid or Mosca, the chosen one will take you anywhere, as long as it is on the route.
How to properly hitch a ride?
- Choose a busy road: be it cars, motorcycles, bicycles or elephants it must be busy, otherwise, it might be difficult to find somebody to pick you up.
- State clearly where you want to go.
- According to experienced travellers, it would be preferable to choose drivers who speak your own language. If you are tourists in a foreign land, you will have to speak with gestures. Which can also be fun.
- ย Make sure that the driver is a good person and does not take you to an abandoned mill. He may have suspicions about you too: always dress and behave appropriately.
- Make sure the chosen vehicle is a car with a luggage rack. Well, it’s not fundamental, but it obviously helps!
We wish you amazing Hitchhiking adventures! ๐
