Due to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, travelling to Russia is currently strongly discouraged. As a result, volunteering opportunities in Russia and Ukraine are also currently unavailable.
The projects listed below were published some time ago and may become available only once the conflict is resolved, hopefully as soon as possible.

How to use this page.

Click on the announcement you are interested in. Check the date of the publication (some opportunities in Russia might be already expired).

If the announcement is still valid, look for the Contact Details section. There you can find free ways to get in touch with the hosts (website, e-mail, phone numbers, application form). Send the host/organization a message and wait for a reply.

Most of these opportunities and programs are free (you receive free food and accommodation in exchange for voluntary work).

Attention: Visa

If you come from outside Europe, make sure you have a possibility to cover your Visa and Travel costs.

Volunteering can’t and will never enable anyone to move to other countries for free!

Organizations, families and local communities are not able to provide invitation letters as that will imply a large number of risks.

Please, visit the official administration website of the Country you want to visit to learn more about their laws, and the type of Visa you need to get for volunteering.
