Aupair
An aupair (from the French au pair) is a domestic assistant from a foreign country, protected by a contract with a host family, usually through agencies.
Au pairs usually help the family in the education of children, and they also deal with light housework. In return they receive food, lodging (live in) and a sum of money at regular intervals. The au pair agreements are subject to government restrictions, which establish, among other things, the minimum and maximum age to participate in the program; usually the program is reserved for young adults aged between 18 and 30 years. Some countries restrict participation in au pairs only to female individuals.
