Volunteering in Colombia… for independent travellers!

Some of these opportunities are completely free (you receive free food and accommodation in exchange for voluntary work – wwoof style). In some cases, you can even get paid. Other organizations require a daily/monthly contribution fee for the food. Remember that many areas in Colombia are still developing and volunteering can’t always be a ‘free’ thing.

For this reason, all of your money will go directly to support the NGO and your stay in Africa. This is also why you will find that the prices for the volunteering experiences are much lower than the ones offered in other professional agencies.
